MY G Sebagai Modem

Saat ini handphone MY G telah dapat digunakan sebagai modem GPRS. Sehingga kita dapat browsing dimana saja dengan menggunakan MY G sebagai modemnya. Beberapa tipe handphone telah kami uji dan dapat digunakan sebagai modem diantaranya : My G 100, My G 110, My G 638, My G 630, My G 660, My G 800, My G 810, My G 818, My G 819, My G 901 dan My G 906. Bagaimana cara nya?

Untuk menjadikan handphone My G sebagai  modem  internet, harus dilakukan beberapa tahap yaitu :

Pastikan layanan GPRS pada sim card telah diaktifkan , tanyakan ke provider kartu anda untuk cara mengaktifkannya.
Setelah aktif dapat mengikuti langkah – langkah sebagai berikut :

I . INSTALASI DRIVER KABEL

1. Colok Kabel ke CPU & HP, pilih mode Com Port pada handphone
2. Setelah itu akan diminta driver,  pilih no,no this time, klik next
3. Pilih instal from specific location (advance), klik next
4. Pilih Don’t search ,just chose the driver to install, next
5. Pilih have disk, browse, arahkan file ke My G port.inf  (file ini dapat didownload di www.my-gmobile.com),setelah itu akan muncul My G port, pilih next lalu continue anyway
6. Klik kanan di My Computer pilih properties  - Hardware – Device Manager, periksa dibagian port akan muncul MyG Port ( com X ) catat angka X tersebut untuk mengetahui dimana kabel  data anda terinstall.

II . SETTING MODEM DIKOMPUTER

1. Pilih start – setting – control panel – phone and modem option – modem – pilih add
2. Centang Don’t detect my modem, I will select it from list, klik next
3. Pilih standar  modem 1440Bps modem, next
4. Pilih Comm Port sesuai yang terinstall di kebel tadi, lalu pilih next – finish
5. Klik kanan di standar 14400Bps modem, pilih properties, advanced, masukkan AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”APN operator”
contoh : AT+cgdcont=1,"IP","indosatgprs" (untuk Indosat)

Daftar setting per kartu : (silakan di copy lalu paste di computer anda)

Matrix Indosat (Rp.10,-/kb): AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”indosatgprs”
IM3 Indosat (Rp.1,-/kb): AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”indosatgprs”


III . MEMBUAT KONEKSI DIAL UP

1. Masuk ke start – setting – control panel – network connection –
2. Create a new connection, next
3. Connect to the internet, next
4. Setup my connetion manually, next
5. Connect using dial-up modem, next
6. Isi ISP terserah anda ( contoh indosat gprs ) lalu next
7. Isi phone number dengan *99***1#
8. Isi user name dan password sesuai kartu anda detailnya sebagai berikut:

Mentari / IM3 / Matrix - User name: indosat, Password : indosat


9. Klik pada bagian Add a shortcut to this connetion to my dekstop, agar koneksi bs di gunakan

IV . KONEKSI KE INTERNET

Untuk connect ke internet tinggal klik 2x pada icon di desktop lalu dial

Handset Blackberry anda ternyata dapat digunakan sebagai modem untuk koneksi ke internet.
Caranya adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Pastikan Desktop Manager anda telah terinstall minimal versi 4. Cara mengecek versi desktop
manager anda adalah sebagai berikut buka desktop manager – Help – General..



2. Hubungkan BlackBerry handset dengan PC/Laptop menggunakan USB kabel. Kemudian buka
Desktop Manager anda dari PC/laptop. Penggunaan BlackBerry sebagai modem hanya
berjalan apabila desktop manager dijalankan
3. Pastikan Modem Driver berfungsi. Dari PC/laptop, klik Setting - Control panel - Phone and
Modems Options. Pada Tab Modem , akan terlihat Standard Modem baru pada port yang baru
(misalnya COM3, COM6 atau COM 11).


Kemudian klik Properties - Diagnostics - Query Modem lalu
akan terlihat seperti salah satu dibawah ini :

Tutup Phone and Modem Options serta Control Panel. Buat koneksi baru dengan cara sebagai
berikut :
1. Klik Start - Connect To - Show all connections - Create a new connection - Next
2. Pilih "Connect To The Internet" - Next
3. Pilih "Set up my connection manually" - Next
4. Pilih "Connect using a dial-up modem" - Next.

5. Cek mark pada Standard Modem ( jika ditanyakan ).
6. Beri nama koneksi tersebut dengan nama seperti "BlackBerry Modem", klik Next.
7. Pada layar berikutnya pilih nomor telephone berikut, tergantung dari masing2 kartu yg
digunakan. Jika anda menggunakan GSM : masukkan no phone *99***1# atau *99#
8. Klik Next. Kosongkan User name dan password
9. Klik Finish.
Kemudian silahkan coba Browsing ke Internet menggunakan koneksi yang baru dibuat diatas

Ujian ini terdiri dari 5 soal.

1. Soal berikut berkaitan dengan sistem ekonomi. Jelaskan secara singkat dan padat maksud dari istilah-istilah berikut dan manfaat informasinya bagi manajemen, berikut contoh.

a. Inflasi : gejala kenaikan harga secara umum artinya semua harga terpengaruhi oleh karena terlalu banyak uang mengejar jumlah barang yang jumlahnya tidak bertambah.
b. Deflasi : Suatu periode dimana harga2 secara umum jatuh dan nilai uang terus bertambah atau penurunan tingkat harga umum karena kurangnya jumlah uang yang beredar
c. Kurs mata uang : sebuah perjanjian yang dikenal sebagai nilai tukar mata uang terhadap pembayaran saat kini atau dikemudian hari, antara dua mata uang masing-masing negara atau wilayah.

e. PDB (Product Domestic Bruto) :
PDB atau GDP (Gross Domestic Product) mengukur total pendapatan suatu negara dan pengeluaran negara tersebut. Jadi, PDB mengukur aliran uang dalam perekonomian.
PDB dapat dihitung dari beberapa pendekatan di antaranya, yaitu :
1.Pendapatan, yaitu dengan menjumlahkan nilai tambah balas jasa
bruto dari semua sektor menggunakan aliran pendapatannya.
2.Pengeluaran, yaitu dengan menjumlahkan permintaan akhir dari unit-
unit ekonomi, yaitu end-user, industri, dan pemerintah.

2.Di dalam konsep keseimbangan permintaan barang dan jasa oleh konsumen dan penawaran barang dan jasa oleh produsen, ditemukan titik temu keduanya sebagai titik ekuilibrium.

a.Jelaskan secara padat berikut contoh bagaimanakah reaksi beli konsumen jika produsen suatu barang inferior (misalnya garam, abu gosok) harganya masing-masing dinaikkan atau diturunkan.

3.Fungsi-fungsi organisasi di antaranya adalah fungsi keuangan, sumberdaya manusia, pemasaran, dan produksi/operasi. Jelaskan masing-masing tiga tugas pokok dari setiap fungsi.

4.Metode Statistika berperan penting untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data agar mampu menghasilkan informasi yang berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan manajemen. Dua di antaranya adalah berguna dalam rangka memprediksi suatu tertentu di masa datang dan memprediksi suatu tertentu disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor lain, misalnya mengenai pendapatan usaha. Jelaskan maksud manfaat dari dua metode statistika tersebut.

MANAJEMEN MODAL KERJA
1. Pengertian Manajemen Modal Kerja
Manajemen modal kerja berkepentingan terhadap keputusan investasi pada aktiva lancar, modal kerja diperlukan perusahaan untuk membiayai kegiatan operasional perusahaan.
2. Modal Kerja
Ada dua pengertian modal kerja :
-Gross working capital, adalah keseluruhan aktiva lancar.
-Net working capital, adalah kelebihan aktiva lancar di atas utang lancar.
Manajemen modal yang efektif menjadi sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan kelangsungan perusahaan dalam jangka panjang. Perusahaan yang tidak memiliki modal kerja yang cukup, tidak dapat membayar kewajiban jangka pendek tepat pada waktunya dan akan menghadapi masalah likuiditas. Investasi modal kerja merupakan proses terus – menerus selama perusahaan beroprasi, yang dipengaruhi oleh :
-Tingkat investasi aktiva lancar perusahaan
-Proposi utang jangka pendek yang digunakan
-Tingkat investasi pada setiap jenis aktiva lancar
-Sumber dana yang spesifik dan komposisi utang lancar yang harus dipertahankan.
Besar kecilnya modal kerja merupakan fungsi dari berbagai faktor seperti :
-Jenis produk yang dibuat
-Jangka waktu siklus operasi
-Tingkat penjualan
-Kebijakan persediaan
-Kebijakan penjualan kredit
-Seberapa jauh efisiensi manajemen aktiva lancar.
Proposi Utang jangka Pendek dan Utang Jangka Panjang
Aktiva lancar dapat dibagi menjado dua katagori :
a.Aktiva lancar permanen (sumber dana untuk membiayai investasi itu baik aktiva lancar maupun tetap )
b.Aktiva lancar yang berfluktasi (dipengaruhi oleh faktor musim atau permintaan)
Tiga alternatif pemenuhan kebutuhan dalam kaitannya dengan aktiva lancar :
a.Matching approach : membiayai investasi aktiva tetap dan aktiva lancar permanen dengan sumber dana jangka panjang, baik utang jangka panjang maupun modal sendiri.
b.Conservative approach : membiayai investasi aktiva tetap dan lancar permanen serta sebagaian aktiva lancar yang berfluktasi dengan utang jangka panjang atau modal sendiri.
c.Pendekatan agresive : pendekatan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan dan dengan menggunakan proposi utang jangka pendek yang lebih besar dibandingkan pendekatan lain.
Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Modal Kerja
Metode yang digunakan menentukan besarnya kebutuhan modal kerja :
a.Metode keterikatan dana (menentukan modal kerja tanpa memperhatikan perputaran elemen pembentuk modal kerja itu sendiri)
b.Metode perputaran modal kerja (menentukan modal kerja dengan memperhatikan perputaran elemen pembentuk modal kerja itu sendiri seperti kas, piutang dan persediaan)

MANAJEMEN KAS DAN SURAT BERHARGA
Pengertian Kas
Kas adalah seluruh uang tunai yang ada di tangan (cash on hand) dan dana yang disimpan di bank dalam berbagai bentuk seperti deposito, rekening koran. Kas merupakan alat tukar yang memungkinkan manajemen menjalankan berbagai kegiatan usahanya.
Pengertian Surat berharga
Surat berharga merupakan investasi jangka pendek yang bersifat temporal, yang apabila perusahaan memerlukan kas dengan segera dapat dijual atau diubah dalam bentuk kas. Manejemen kas meliputi tiga hal yaitu :
1.penentuan aktiva liquid yang optimal
2.menetukan metode yang paling efisien dalam pengendalian penumpulan dan penggunaan dana
3.menentukan jenis investasi jangka pendek yang tepat bagi perusahaan.
Menurut Keynes tiga motif untuk mempertahankan kas dalam pengertian luas baik uang tunai maupun uang yang ada di bank yaitu :
1.Kebutuhan untuk transaksi
2.Kebutuhan untuk berjaga – jaga
3.Kebutuhan untuk spekulasi
Risiko Dan Tingkat Keuntungan
Keuntungan yang dapat diharapkan dengan memiliki kas yang cukup adalah :
a.Memperoleh bunga dari investasi pada surat berharga
b.Memilikikas yang cukup
c.Perusahaan memperoleh kesempatan pembelian yang lebih baik dengan memiliki kas yang cukup
d.Perusahaan akan memperoleh ranking yang lebih baik dengan mempertahankan aktiva lancar yan cukup
ANGGARAN (BUDGET) KAS
Anggaran (budget) kas perusahaan dimanfaatkan untuk mengestimasikan kebutuhan kas sebagai bagian dari proses penganggaran secara keseluruhan dari kegiatan perusahaan. Untuk membuat anggaran kas harus memperhatikan besar kecilnya transaksi tiap periode.

MANAJEMEN PENGUMPULAN DANA
Manajemen pengumpulan dana membentu untuk meningkatkan efesiensi manajemen kas. Metode yang digunakan guna mempercepat penngumpulan itu, antara lain :
1.mempercepat pengirima pembayaran dari langganan kepada perusahaan
2.mengurangi waktu selama penerimaan pembayaran dengan memperhatikan dana yang tidak dikumpulkan.
3.mempercepat perpindahan dana untuk pengeluaran bank.
Transfrerring Funds
Untuk mempercepat perpindahaan dana antar bank, terdapat tiga alternatif yaitu melalui :
1.wire transfer
2.deposito transfer cheque
3.elecronic transfer cheque (ETC)
Mail float adalah tenggang waktu antara konsumen mengirimkan cheque melalui mail box sampai dengan perusahaan menerima chaque dan mulai memproes cheque tersebut.
Conceration Banking
Percepatan aliran dana perusahaan, ditempuh dengan mendirikan pusat pengumpulan dana.
Lock – Box System
Cara lain untuk mempercepat aliran dana adalah dengan lock – box system. Tujuan lock – box system adalah untuk menghilangkan tenggang waktu antara penerimaan pembayaran oleh perusahaan dan mendepositokan ke bank. Mekanisme lock – box system adalah perusahaan menyewakan kotak pos disuatu daerah dan memberi wewenang bang di daerah terssebut untuk mengambil pembayaran dari kotak itu. Kelebihan dari lock – box system adalah bahwa ceknyang telah diterima akan didepositokan secepat mungkin dan segera dimasukkan dalam rekening perusahaan.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Electronic funds transfer (EFT) adalah salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan efesiensi aliran dana. Dengan Electronic funds transfer (EFT) dimungkinkan untk membayar gaji dengan lebih cepat yang langsung dimasukkan dalam rekening karyawan.
Menetukan Kas yang Optimal
Kas dan surat beerharga yanng optimal sangat tergantung atas trade-off antara tingkat bunga dengan biaya transaksi.
Faktor – faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pemilihan Surat Berharga
-Default risk adalah resiko bahwa peminjam tidak mampu membeyar kembali bunga dan pokok pinjaman.
-Risiko bahwa suatu even akan meningkatkan risiko kegagalan perusahaan.
-Risiko inflasi yaitu resiko bahwa inflasi akan menurunkan daya beli pendapatan pendapatan yang kita peroleh.
Pada bagian ini kita akan memperlonggar asumsi, bahwa yeild itu berubah : perbedaan dalam risiko fluktasi harga pasar surat berharga. Untuk menjelaskan mengapa yeilid itu berubah. Risiko gagal berarti bahwa peminjam tidak akan memenuhi kewajiban untuk membeyar angsuran dan bunganya. Marketability berhubungna dengan kemampuan kemampuan pemilik surat berharga untuk mengubahnya dalam bentuk kas. Batas waktu pinjaman hubungna antara yeiled dan batas waktu pinjaman dapat dipelajari dengna menggunakan bantuan grfaik.

MANAJEMEN PIUTANG
Pengertian Piutang
Piutang timbul karena syarat pembayaran perusahaan yang dijual secara tunai kemudian dirubah dengan cara kredit. Perusahaan dapat meningkatkan investasi pada piutang sepanjang tambahan keuntungan yang timbul aadanya piutang tersebut masih besar daripada tambahan biaya investasi piutanng itu. Untuk menentukan kebijakann kredit yang optimal, manajer keuangan harus mempertimbangkan beberapa variabel pentinng yang berkaitan dengan piutang, yag meliputi : standar kredit, persyaratan kredit dan usaha pengumpulan piutang.
KEBIJAKAN MANAJEMEN PIUTANG
Standar Kredit
Standar kredit adalah salah satu kriteria yang dipakai perusahaan menyeleksi para lanngganan yang akan diberi kredit dan berapa jumlah yang harus diberikan
Persyaratan Kredit
Persyaratan kredit merupakan kondisi yang disyaratkan untuk pembayaran kembali piutang dari para langganan. Kondisi tersebut meliputi lama waktu pemberian kredit dan potongan serta persyaratan khusus lainnya seperti seasonal dating. Di samping persyaratan kredit itu seringkali perusahaan juga memberikan potonga tunai untuk meningkatkan penjualan.
Kebijakan Kredit dan Pengumpulan Piutang
Kebijakan kredit pengumpulan piutang mencakup beberapa keputusan :
1.Kualitas account accepted
2.Periode kredit
3.Potongan tunai
4.Persyaratan khusus
5.Tinggal pengeluaran untuk pengumpulan piutang
Evaluasi terhadap Para Langganan
Secara umum terdapat beberapa langkah dalam evaluasi calon langganan :
1.Mengumpulan informasi yang relevan calon pelanggan.
2.Menganalisa kondisi calon atas dasar informasi yang diperolehnya
3.Mengambil kepuutusan apakah calon langganan akan diberikan kredit atau dan beberapa jumlah
Menggumpulkan dan Menganalisa Informasi
Untuk memberikan kredit biasanya cara yang paling mudah dan ini sering dilakukan oleh bank dengan syarat the five Cs of Credit dan three Rs of Credit yakni : Character, Capacity, Capital, collateral, Conditions dan Rate of Return, Risk Abiaring, Repayment Capacity. Tiga faktor lainnya adalah : rate of return, risk bearing abillity, repayment capacity.
Selain berbagai faktor yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan kredit, faktor yang perlu mendapat perhatian adalah insrument kredit. Berbagai instrumen kredit seperti open account, promissory note, commercial draft, time draft. Promissory note mencakup jumlah pembayaran, tingkat bunga, skedul pembayaran dan persyaratan lainnya.jaminan pembayaran oleh bank koresponden pembeli ini disebut juga dengan bankers acceptance. Bankers acceptance bentuk time draft yang dijamin oleh. Disebut bankers acceptance karena bank menerima tanggungn jawab. Keuntungan utama kontrak penjualan besyarat ini adalah bahwa default risk yang dihadapai penjual relatif kecildibandingkan dengan penjualan biasa karena kepemiliki masih ada di tangan penjual.
Insticates of deposit disingkatrument pembayaran kredit jangka pendek adalah repurchase agreement atau repo. Repo tidak lain adlah penjualan sekuriitas yanng disertai dengan kesedian untuk membeli kembali pada periode tertentu, dengan cara harga tertentu termasuk bunga. Certificates of deposit adalah sejumlah dana dana yang telah didepositokan untuk periode tertentu yang akan dibayar kembali atau di tarik termasuk bunga deposito pada saat jatuh tempo.
